Tullaroop Reservoir is a great spot for fishing, picnics and boating (electric motors only). The reservoir features a grassy picnic area with lots of tables and several wood fire barbecues. Many of the tables offer beautiful views over the water and there are several shady spots beneath the trees.

To the left of the parking area the grass gently slopes down toward the water, and to the right you can drive down to a second parking area where there's another barbecue and picnic table. A boat ramp is located past this second parking area.

A toilet block is located alongside the entrance.

There is no swimming, camping or shooting permitted at Tullaroop Reservoir, but there are plenty of great spots to set up for a peaceful day fishing.

Across the road from the entrance on Rodborough Road you will find a plaque set in a large stone, which says:

GOLD ESCORT ROUTE

Along this track Commissioner Alexander Tolmer lead the first of 18 police escorts which under various commanders transported from Mt Alexander, Victoria to Adelaide, South Australia, March 1852 to December 1853, 328,509 ozs of gold.
