Mill Park is a beautiful spot to bring the family for a barbecue, with a fantastic picnic area and playground set in a grassy field among ornamental trees.
A large undercover area houses two electric barbecues, picnic table and bench seating, with a few more picnic tables set out in the sun.
The playground is situated right alongside the picnic area, and a clear grassy lawn stretches down towards the adjacent Ballan Outdoor Pool.
Rubbish bins are located alongside the shady gravel parking area, and powerpoints can be found within the picnic area.
The scenic Werribee River passes beneath Blackwood Street, just over on the other side of Mill Park Road, before continuing on through Caledonian Park.
Walking tracks travel alongside the river, which can be accessed from Blackwood Street.
