Market Reserve Recreation Area is a fantastic public space on Green Street, Carisbrook.

The main entrance to the park is lined with beautiful historical information signs featuring intriguing pictures from the past.

There is a free electric barbecue in a covered area and plentiful picnic tables and park benches.

A fenced area with cement paths is over at the back of the park, which makes a fantastic spot for small children to ride bikes. Beside the fenced area are park benches beneath an enormous shady peppercorn tree (which is great for climbing!)

On the left of the park is a bmx bike track.

Over on the far right of the park is a playground, which features a flying fox, swings, a caterpillar climbing object, and a larger blue climbing structure. There is also a picnic table in the shade of a pretty row of trees.

There is a community rose garden growing and plenty of grassy space.

Toilet block, water tap and rubbish bins are available.
