Features

Mount Cameron Gorge is a beautiful swimming and fishing spot just 25 minutes from Maryborough and 15 minutes from Clunes. Mt Cameron-Cotswold Road drops unexpectedly into a deep gorge before crossing the scenic Tullaroop Creek. A low bridge crosses the water, with a small cascade to one side and an excellent swimming area to the other.

This area is great to bring kids swimming as the creek floor is covered with smooth stones and there's a fair stretch of shallow water before it starts to get deeper.

There's a gravel area between the road and the creek to park cars, set up camping chairs/tables, etc.

Not only is this a great spot to relax and have a swim, if you are looking for a scenic drive then the road down through the gully and up the other side is definitely worth checking out.

Visitors must note that there are no rubbish bins here - please ensure you take all rubbish with you when you leave.
