Features

Mount Cameron Gorge is a beautiful swimming and fishing spot just 25 minutes from Maryborough and 15 minutes from Clunes. Mt Cameron-Cotswold Road drops unexpectedly into a deep gorge before crossing the scenic Tullaroop Creek.

There's a gravel area between the road and the creek to park cars, set up camping chairs/tables, etc.

Not only is this a great spot to relax and have a swim, if you are looking for a scenic drive then the road down through the gully and up the other side is definitely worth checking out.

Fawcett's Crossing

This spot is known as Fawcett's Crossing, where a low bridge crosses Tullaroop Creek. There is a small cascade to one side and an excellent swimming area to the other.

Swimming at the Mount Cameron Gorge

This area is great to bring kids swimming as the creek floor is covered with smooth stones and there's a fair stretch of shallow water before it starts to get deeper.
