The Kangaroo Flat Reserve is peaceful little area with green lawns, a small lake and creek surrounded by trees, a walking track with a bridge over the creek, and plenty of birds.

Access to the park is off both Station Street and off Camp Street on the other side.

The Station Street side has a large gravel parking area and a toilet block.

A brief walk through the park brings you to the Camp Street side, where you will find a large undercover barbecue area with two electric barbecues set in a bench and a couple of picnic tables.

Outside the undercover area, along the lawns, are several other picnic tables. Rubbish bins are available throughout the reserve.

This is a great spot for a barbecue, dog walking, birdwatching, or a picnic blanket.
