Features

  • Historic school site
  • Bushland
The historical site of the former Mosquito Flat School is marked with a sign alongside the M101 Track, just off Mosquito Road within the Craigie State Forest. Now little more than a quiet patch of bushland, nothing remains of the school which once stood here.

The sign displays the following text:

School 750 Mosquito Flat
1864 - 1897

This is just one of many fascinating historic sites throughout the Craigie State Forest.
