Lake Eppalock is a vast reservoir constructed on the Campaspe River in the 1960s.
Lake Eppalock is a popular destination for boating, water sport, fishing, swimming, bushwalking, barbecues and picnics.
This part of Lake Eppalock is known as Bo Bay, and is accessed from the corner of Coliban Pool Road and Ryans Lane.
This spot has no facilities, but has easy access to the water with a carpark located right alongside the reservoir.
There are lots of fantastic visitor facilities at various other locations around Lake Eppalock including multiple picnic areas with electric barbecues, four public boat ramps, several public toilet blocks, and a kiosk.
Camping facilities are provided in multiple caravan parks around Lake Eppalock. Please note that free camping is not permitted around the reservoir.
Lake Eppalock boasts a healthy supply of Golden Perch, Red Fin, Trout and Murray Cod. Red Fin is typically found in the Derrinal and Kimbolton pools (in the north sections of the lake) and Murray Cod and Golden Perch is typically found in the mouths of the Coliban and Campaspe Rivers.
