The Chinese Diggings Historic Reserve was worked from the 1850s up to the 1930s, and contains many well preserved round and rectangular mine shafts. This 4 hectare reserve consists of dense scrub, uneven ground and many open mine shafts.

Always watch where you are walking in this area and supervise children at all times - it is not advised to bring small children into the Chinese Diggings Historic Reserve due to the unsigned and unfenced open mine shafts throughout the area.
