Features

  • Aboriginal Rock Wells
  • Viewing platform
  • Short walk
These rock wells lie on Spring Hill within the Whroo Historic Area, not far from the fascinating Whroo Cemetery

Once spring fed, these rock wells were originally used by Aborigines and later enlarged by gold miners.

A wooden viewing platform overlooks the well so visitors can take a look without disturbing the site.

This is an interesting place to stop by while exploring the many historical sites throughout the Whroo Historic Area. Free camping is available nearby at Greens Campground.
