Features

  • Scenic lagoon
  • Fishing
The secluded Hepburn Lagoon sits surrounded by farmland in Blampied VIC.

A popular fishing destination, the lake is regularly stocked and contains brown trout, rainbow trout, redfin, eels, tench and carp.

Access to the lagoon is via a laneway which travels through a farming field.

Please ensure you close the gate behind when you enter and exit Hepburn Lagoon to ensure that no livestock can get out.

There are no visitor facilities at Hepburn Lagoon, so it may be a good idea to bring along some camp chairs and a picnic blanket.

The water here is shallow and reedy, this is not an ideal swimming spot. We've got plenty of other fantastic swimming spots in the Victorian Goldfields.
