Take a walk along Creswick Creek in Clunes and discover this old foundry site tucked away among the trees.

Situated across the foot bridge from the Port Phillip Mine site and information display, this foundry is an interesting place to stop by while exploring the many significant historical features throughout Clunes.

A sign stands before the remains of a furnace, and displays the following text:

Site of foundry
1862 - 1937

The site is accessible by car (via W Parade) or by foot from the Port Phillip Mine site on Scenic Drive. A wooden picnic table is set along the creek close to the foundry site.
