This stone monument stands in the middle of Newbridge in memory of the many locals who enlisted in the First World War.

Constructed of stone and surrounded by a small chain link fence, this ornate monument stands on a large brick area right across from the Newbridge Hotel.

The monument displays the following text, along with the soldiers' names:

Erected by the residents of Newbridge and District to commemorate the enlistment of the heroes who responded to the call of Empire in the Great War 1914 - 1919 for God & Country.
