The Nuggety Gully Reservoir is tucked away on the edge of the Timor State Forest, a great spot for bushwalking and birdwatching.
The seasonal dam will dry up through summer but typically holds water through late autumn, winter and spring.
Bushwalking at Nuggety Gully Reservoir
A large dam embankment along the western side of the reservoir makes a great scenic walking track, along with the bush roads which travel in a circuit around the reserve.
Accessing Nuggety Gully Reservoir
The Nuggety Gully Reservoir is best accessed via Timor Reservoir Track, off Happy Tommy Track.
Please note that four wheel drives and motorbikes are prohibited on any area of the reservoir's embankment.
