Features

This small grassy area on the corner of Scenic Drive and Angus Street forms part of Esmond Park and offers a view out over Clunes, Victoria's first gold town.

This little park features little more than a picnic table and a compact cluster of large rocks, which are great for children to climb. Beware of snakes in this grassy area during summer.

Visitor facilities at Esmond Park

The only visitor facility at Esmond Park is the single picnic table. There are more picnic tables located further down Scenic Drive between the Port Phillip mine and the Creek Walk

Walking track from Esmond Park

A walking track descends from the park along Angus Street towards the Ligar Street Reserve.

Scenic Drive

Scenic Drive travels alongside Esmond Park, beginning down the bottom along Creswick Creek (at the site of the Port Phillip Mine) and ending here at this lookout/picnic area.

Points of interest along Scenic Drive include the Port Phillip Mine, Clunes gold discovery monument, Lookout, Clunes Dog Park, and this picnic spot at the top.
