Formerly known as the Sandy Creek Cemetery, this peaceful bushland cemetery sits alongside a dirt road in Welshmans Reef.
The cemetery features a pioneer memorial, multiple gravestones, and lots of simple graves marked by wooden posts.
The graves with monuments / headstones are situated to the far left and right of the cemetery, with a huge amount of previously unmarked graves (with the wooden posts added more recently) over on the left.
A stone monument stands by the front fence in memory of the district's pioneers, and displays the following text:
Welshmans Reef Cemetery
1870 - 1956
This tablet was laid in grateful memory of the pioneers of this district
Unveiled in Australia's bicentennial year, 1988.
