Once equipped with a telescope and manned by volunteers, this air observation post was established during WW2 in order to observe and identify aircraft flying in the area.
The remains of the hut are situated on the south east side of
Anzac Hill. The site is accessed by a short walk down a gravel path from Anzac Hill Road. The spot also offers beautiful views over Maldon.
