Bring a packed lunch and head out to Cairn Curran's Picnic Point for an afternoon of swimming, fishing and boating.

A large visitors area is bordered by decorative rocks, and a partially enclosed picnic shelter contains a table and fireplaces.

The gravel road travels through the picnic area and down to a boat ramp, with lots of space along the rocky shore to set up for an afternoon of fishing.

Picnic Point gets a lot of brown snakes during the summer, so be wary of any long grass during the hotter months and watch where you step.
