The Bealiba Cemetery is located along a quiet road not far from the beautifully restored
Bealiba Railway Station. The cemetery is set in a flat, clear area, with views across to nearby
Mount Bealiba.
The cemetery is an interesting place to wander through for a look, and there is bench seating provided throughout the area for visitors. Several seats are set beneath the shade of a large tree.
Bealiba Pioneer Memorial
An interesting pioneer memorial stands in the Bealiba Cemetery as well. The stone obelisk is set in a square paved area, and features an engraved side which displays the following text:
This monument is dedicated to that noble band of pioneers who in the early days out of virgin forest carved this township of ours.
