The picturesque Green Hill Cemetery sits in an isolated location alongside Goldfields Road, between Metcalfe and Langley.
A charming section of picket fence is set at the entrance to the cemetery, and an interesting sign displays the 19th century fees for services/burials.
It is believed that up to seventy burials took place in this cemetery from the 1860s, when mining caused an increase in population at Green Hill.
There are many unmarked graves within the cemetery, but only a handful of old headstones remain.
