Talbot's Pioneers Memorial Playground is a great spot to bring the family for a picnic and play, with an undercover barbecue area set beneath the trees alongside a playground.
Situated in the town's gorgeous Scandinavian Crescent, the park is surrounded by beautifully restored historical buildings and is right near the
Talbot Provedore and Eatery.
A set of artistically painted logs decorate the front corner of the park.
Playground
The main playground features a wave slide, slanted climbing wall, ladders, a chain bridge, monkey bars, swing set, see saw, pelican springer, bike springer, and spinning cup.
A smaller play space great for toddlers is set right alongside the barbecue area.
Picnics and barbecues
The barbecue is free, bush-button start, and under a small shelter. Nearby is a larger shelter with a concrete floor and a picnic table. There is another picnic table beside the toddler area.
Toilets, rubbish bins and dog waste bags are also present.
