The old Carisbrook / Bald Hill Cemetery was established in the early 1850's and is just a few minutes drive from Carisbrook Victoria.
The Bald Hill Cemetery was replaced in 1858 by the nearby
Carisbrook Cemetery, which is still in use today. There was some overlap of the usage of the two cemeteries.
The area is all farmland now and no trace of the old cemetery remains except for a monument which was erected in 1997. The monument includes a list of the people who are buried there and includes their age, date of death, and full names.
