War memorial
This decorative stone archway stands over an entrance gate to the Rheola Hall and the Pioneers Memorial Park, commemorating the lives of local soldiers who served in World War One and World War Two.
There is also a Soldiers Memorial Plantation located a few moments drive from here, along the Wedderburn-Dunolly Road.
Many cemeteries within the Goldfields were established in the 1850's, when the discovery of gold attracted an enormous rush of people to the area.
